Patient information

Patient Rights and Responsibilities

What you are entitled to when you arrange treatment through Clinic-Y, and what we ask of you in return so that your care is safe.

Rights

What you can expect from us and from the hospital

To be informed

A written treatment plan, the name of your doctor, the expected benefits, the risks and the alternatives, including the option of not having treatment.

To understand

Explanations in a language you speak, through a professional interpreter, with time to ask questions.

To consent freely

Nothing is done without your informed consent, and you can change your mind at any point before treatment.

To know the cost

One written, all-inclusive price before you book, with anything outside it listed as outside it.

To privacy

Your records are confidential. Clinics see your case without your name or contact details until you accept a proposal.

To a second opinion

You may ask for another specialist’s view at any time, and we will arrange it.

To respect

Care without discrimination on any ground, and consideration for your beliefs and dignity.

To complain

A clear route to raise a concern, a named person handling it and a written answer.

Responsibilities

What we ask of you

Safe surgery depends on accurate information. These are not formalities.

  • Give a complete and honest medical history, including medication, supplements, allergies, smoking and previous surgery
  • Tell us if your health changes between booking and travel
  • Follow the instructions you are given before and after treatment, and ask when something is unclear
  • Attend follow-up contacts and report problems early
  • Treat staff and other patients with respect
  • Settle invoices as agreed in your written quote
Privacy

Your rights over your personal data

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, for patients in Europe, the GDPR, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, receive a copy, restrict its use or have it deleted where the law allows. Health data is processed only with your explicit consent and only for arranging your care.

How to make a request is set out in the Privacy Policy. We answer within 30 days.

Questions about your rights?

Ask your coordinator, or write to us and a named person will reply.
