Every amount you pay Clinic-Y appears in your dashboard as an invoice with its own reference. Nothing is charged before you have a written quote.
What is free
Sending your case, having a specialist review it, receiving proposals, using the site assistant and the health calculators.
Doctor recommendation fee: 20 US dollars
A one-off platform fee to unlock the recommendation that names the doctor and hospital we advise for your case and explains why. It is refunded in full if you ask before opening the recommendation, and credited against your treatment package if you go ahead with a partner clinic.
Conversation reconnection fee: 5 US dollars
Charged only to an account whose message broke the platform rules (contact details, off-platform payment, abusive content) and paused the conversation. The other party is never charged. A coordinator may reopen a conversation without the fee after review.
Treatment deposits and balances
A deposit secures your dates and the balance is settled before discharge. The written proposal states the deposit, when it is refundable and any costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, non-refundable flights or hotel nights booked at your request). If the treating doctor decides on arrival that the treatment is not medically appropriate for you, the deposit is refunded less any such costs.
How refunds are paid
To the account the payment came from, within 14 days of approval. Ask for a refund from your dashboard or at care@clinic-y.com.
