Botox is the best-known brand of botulinum toxin type A, a prescription medicine that relaxes the small muscles responsible for frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet.

What Botox involves
After assessing how your face moves, the doctor injects tiny measured doses with a very fine needle into specific muscles.
