Prices and payment
Is the case review really free?
Yes. Sending your reports and having them reviewed costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
What does an all-inclusive package cover?
Normally the surgeon and anaesthesia, hospital stay and nursing, pre-operative tests, implants and medication used in hospital, airport and hospital transfers, hotel nights, an interpreter and follow-up. Your written quote lists exactly what is in and what is out. Flights are not included.
Are the prices on the site final?
They are indicative ranges for typical cases. The binding figure is the written quote you receive after doctors have reviewed your file.
How and when do I pay?
By bank transfer against an invoice: a deposit to secure dates and the balance before discharge. Coordinators never collect cash.
Can I get a refund?
The $20 recommendation fee is refundable until you open the recommendation. Deposits and treatment payments follow the terms in your written quote. See Fees and refunds.
Quality and safety
How do you choose partner hospitals?
We check accreditation and licensing, review the relevant department’s experience, and follow patient feedback. A hospital shows a Verified partner mark on this site only when accreditation and a rating are on file; others are listed for comparison and marked as such.
What if there is a complication?
Every quote comes with the hospital’s written policy on complications and revisions, so you know before booking what is covered. If something happens, your coordinator works with the treating team and with you until it is resolved.
Will I be able to talk to the doctor before I travel?
Yes. A video consultation can be booked from the doctor’s availability once your case has been reviewed.
Who will interpret for me?
A professional interpreter in your language attends consultations and the consent process. Consent is never taken through a relative or a phone app.
Travel and stay
How long will I need to stay in Istanbul?
It depends on the treatment: a few days for many dental and hair procedures, one to two weeks for most surgery, longer for some orthopaedic and cardiac operations. Each treatment page gives a typical stay, and your quote gives yours.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, and for surgery we encourage it. Tell us in advance so the hotel room and transfers are arranged for two.
Do I need a visa?
Many nationalities enter Türkiye visa-free or with an e-visa obtained online. Check the official e-visa site for your passport; we provide an invitation letter if your consulate asks for one.
When can I fly home?
Your treating doctor decides, at a fit-to-fly check. Do not book a non-changeable return flight before the hospital confirms your dates.
After you go home
What follow-up will I have?
Check-ins on a schedule suited to your treatment, by message or video, with your questions passed to the treating team. You leave with your records in English for your own doctor.
Who do I call if I am worried?
Your coordinator, or the central line, at any hour. In an emergency call your local emergency number first. See Urgent assistance.
Is my medical information kept private?
Yes. Files are stored in a private vault, clinics see your case without your name or contact details until you accept a proposal, and your data is handled under Turkish KVKK and the EU GDPR. See the Privacy Policy.
