Carbon Laser Peel

A carbon laser peel, sometimes called a Hollywood peel, spreads a thin layer of liquid carbon over the face and then passes a Q-switched laser over it. The laser vaporises the carbon, taking surface debris and oil with it and gently heating the skin.

It is a quick, painless treatment for oily, congested skin and gives a bright, smooth finish for a week or two. It is a maintenance treatment, not a resurfacing one.

What Carbon Laser Peel involves

Carbon lotion is applied and left to dry so it settles into the pores. A first laser pass warms the skin; a second, at a different setting, shatters the carbon particles with a snapping sound. The residue is wiped away and sunscreen applied.
